Josh Mintz Plumbing was called to an active rail facility to inspect and repair a damaged underground compressed air line located between the railroad tracks.
Working within an operational rail yard required careful coordination, proper safety equipment, and a focused repair plan. After identifying the affected section, the crew accessed the underground line through the surrounding ballast, removed the damaged portion, and completed the necessary pipe and connection repairs.
Once the repair was complete, the line was secured and tested to confirm reliable pressure and leak-free operation. The project restored the facility’s compressed air service while minimizing disruption to normal rail-yard activity.
